Oh how sweet! It's too cool be featured in this list, especially seeing as you don't typically like political tracks! Little known secret, I don't either, but I've done two I think in my day. I have a lot of unpublished demos of such songs just because I fell out of love with writing them. That said, if the track bangs, it can hang.
GRIST's lyrical genius can mostly be attributed to @SkankyMojo. I handled the production of the track with the exception of the bassline, which he laid down in lieu of a sample I chopped and melodyned. It just works.
As for the Nu Jack, as a child of the 90s, I'm addicted to the genre. The only thing it ever lacked for was modern mixing and vocal FX!
