Very upbeat! The piano feels like it's missing something to me. I'm really digging the bass and the drumming though!

SkittleWaffle responds:

Thanks pal!

This beat is nice! I love your composition method too of the wheel. It's less a genre and more of a style, but what you're doing reminds me of Chance music, where stuff like the BPM, the key and other aspects of your song get decided by chance. Rolling dice, asking friends for input without context, etc. Could be a cool way to get a staring point if you're ever needing quick inspiration.

On that note, what exactly is it that comprises a Blog House song? Never heard of that genre before.

JinZ responds:

To put it simply, Blog House is a child of Dance and Electroclash. You've probably known Dance by now. Electroclash is a genre that basically fuses 1980s electro, new wave and synth-pop with 1990s techno, retro-style electropop and EDM.

Wasn't sure about this one until that beat dropped and then it got absolutely FILTHY good.

Quarl responds:

Production process feels the same way, never know what to think till you get the hook going :)

I dig the 8-bit percussion on this one, nice job!

This song just oozes mischief. "Don't go into the woods, there's gnomes in there!" type of vibe.

ZaazNG responds:

Exactly what I was going for lol Thank you for listening :)

Ooh, this is so jazzy. I feel you on the illness bit--I'm fighting an ear infection rn and it's making mixing and recording vocals SO difficult. FWIW it doesn't come through in the vocals at all. Your voice has a charm that this acoustic style fits very well, especially when you have those backing vocals come up. There's probably a little room for improvement when you're gliding from one note to another, it doesn't feel the smoothest in places. It's a tough thing to pull off but if you practice it gets pretty easy.

My inner monologue while thinking about the next 30 days

(Srsly this is good tho the drums are killer)

This beat goes harder than swedish meatballs fresh out the freezer

Imagine climbing Mt Everest, your oxygen running low and frostbite setting in, and off in the distance you lock eyes...with a person in a fursuit. And then like ships in the night you've both parted ways.

Ooh this beat is DIRTY! Nice work
